I always say that working out is my sanity. It’s me time. Along with so many things this year my workout routine has shifted. I’ve always done home workouts – I stream Beachbody videos. I love the versatility I get from being able to choose different programs and along with different instructors depending on my mood/energy. I am a big fan of HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) I love the fast pace and sheer exhaustion by the end of each set. I’ve always loved to push myself really hard when it comes to working out. A few months ago I injured my heel and it continues to bother me. I’ve had to adjust and move slower and focus more on strength training and I started using weights for the first time ever. I’m adjusting to the new routines, but can’t wait to do some power jumps ASAP! Here’s to taking care of yourself and feeling strong this 2021!
