Layers on layers

Hello, everyone! I hope you’ve all had a fantastic weekend! I know I’m thoroughly enjoying this San Diego fall. It’s starting to actually feel like the holiday season; there are so many exciting things coming up in the next couple of months. One of which being…layers are officially back in business! You guys know I’m always about layers, but it’s nice to be able to rock them without having to take them on and off constantly throughout the day.

Today’s look is casual but chic, edgy but flirty! I’m hoping you’ll find some of your favorite go-to pieces kicked up a notch. I paired this super soft distressed hoodie with an absolutely perfect layering tank. I personally love the black-on-black look, and the paint splatters on the tank really add some fun texture and dimension. The hoodie is seriously so soft and it’s the perfect piece to throw on when you need to get some errands done and the weather gets chilly!

I layered a gorgeous charcoal grey suede moto jacket over the hoodie for a cool-girl vibe. The moto style silhouette is a classic and it layers flawlessly over tees as well as thick sweaters.

To spice things up a little, I picked these awesome, black leather pants (who’s surprised?!). The sheen in the leather break up the black really nicely while also adding texture –  that’s important when you’re going for a more monochromatic look. And course, what’s fall without knee-high boots? These have come to be my staple favorites. They pack a punch but are really easy to walk in, so they can be transitioned from day to night super easily. You won’t regret snatching these up; they make you feel like you can conquer anything.
