Hi, friends! Today’s look is coming to you straight from Nordstrom. Their pieces never disappoint, and they always have a fantastic selection when it comes to their Women’s section. You really can’t go wrong with any of it; there’s something for every closet no matter how you’d define your personal style.

We’re coming off of a massive heat wave here in San Diego, so I could not be more excited for sweater weather to (hopefully) finally settle in. Dreaming about crisp fall weather really inspired this look! I picked this sweater because it’s sooo soft and perfect for layering. It’s really a versatile piece, as you can see by the way I styled it today. Rather than stick with the normal turtleneck look (which I still love for the cooler seasons), I converted it to an off-the-shoulder look to shake things up a bit. I paired it with this casual striped tank top – it’s so perfect for layering! Plus, you can never have too many stripes in your closet. They always add the perfect touch of texture and dimension.

Have I ever mentioned that I love a good pair of distressed, dark jeans? There’s nothing quite like quality denim to make you feel and look awesome, which is why I picked these for this look. The high waist is comfy and flattering and they really keep their shape throughout the day. Nordstrom has an endless supply of great denim so you really can’t pick a bad pair, but I love these especially.

I completed this look with one of my favorite pairs of black pumps. The ultra-cool metal hardware on the toe plays perfectly off of the texture of the stripes up top, and pumps always add that perfect touch of put-together! I linked some similar ones because everyone can use a classic, clean pair of pumps with a little metal to edge things up.

This outfit is seriously layering goals! Did you size up for this sweater? Wondering what size I should purchase for a similar effect.

I bought my usual size, but would recommend sizing up for a more comfortable fit. xx Erica
