Hello friends! Its been a crazy busy week. I’m heading to Florida on Tuesday for a week and then straight to NYC for a special project. Going from a hot to a freezing climate all in one suitcase is challenging to say the least! This styling challenge made me think about how important it is to have versatile pieces and be able to style them in varying climates and situations. Take today’s look for example, I styled it for our somewhat cool San Diego winter weather, but I could take all these same pieces and style them for warmer or colder climates as well. For example, the cardigan could be paired with a short skirt and work perfectly for an evening in a warm weather climate. Throw a long jacket over the same cardigan and it becomes cold weather ready. Leather pants + the same tee I’m wearing + sandals and we have another warm weather look. You get the idea. This type of creativity is how i plan to get through the next two weeks in opposite climates in style.
