There is something easy about throwing on a beautiful dress when the weather is warm that just feels right. No fuss kind of dressing. Add in sneakers and you are set for exploring. In today’s post I styled this pretty silk dress and cool sneakers by rag & bone for an elevated casual look. When looking at an item I always focus on the details – what makes it different/special? Rag & bone has been one of my go-to designers for years. The quality is amazing and they always seem to add in the extra touches that make them stand out. I love how this dress features a double silk layer – it adds a little more thickness and is more flattering because of it (doesn’t show every imperfection). The contrast silk charmeuse binding detail adds a beautiful highlight to the sides and opens to a leg lengthening side slit. Pairing the dress with sneakers feels very modern and cool. Not only are these sneakers super comfortable they come in so many different colors that will surely match any wardrobe (and makes dressing extra fun and personal!). Plus they smell like mint. Seriously. It’s delicious.
I paired the dress with a lace bralette and slip to add a splash of femininity to the sporty look.
Thanks rag & bone for partnering on this post.
