Keeping an effortless vibe with the combo of over the knee boots and a miniskirt can be a little tricky to say the least. The pairing is inherently sexy and can sometimes end up looking like one is trying too hard. The type of boot you wear is important when paired with a miniskirt. I find it easiest and most wearable when the boot has a chunkier heel and is suede. The chunkier heel adds more of a casual vibe as does the suede. When wearing a miniskirt I always advise to cover the top and keep it looser. I am a big believer in if you show legs then cover the top and vise versa. Long sleeves is preferable, but a flowy short sleeve top would also do. I personally love miniskirts paired with chunky sweaters. So chic!
For my look I decided to add a little more sophistication and edginess by pairing it with a sharp peplum blazer with leather sleeves. In trying to keep this look as effortless as possible I paired it with a well cut tee. A great tee is a wardrobe essential and is probably the most versatile piece in one’s closet. Since this piece is the workhorse of your wardrobe, great fit is essential in making your looks remain chic.
