A Little Bit of This, A Little Bit of That

For today’s look I’m doing what I can only describe as modern boho meets rocker chic meets stylish sophisticate.  What, you never heard of that style?  Well, here it is!  This electric style is all about using layers to create interest.  I started with a wrap sweater and layered this beautiful vest by the very talented designer and friend, Pamela Allier.  I topped these two layers with my favorite camel coat of the season.  I find myself wanting to wear it all the time. Usually my go-to fall jacket is a leather one, but I’m finding this alternative to be so chic and perfect when it rests on the shoulders.

A leather miniskirt paired with this season’s must-have OTK (over the knee) boots add a bit of an edge to the look.  I searched a long time for the perfect grey OTK boots and I am happy to say I found them!  They are super comfortable, easy to walk in and hug the legs perfectly.

The gold details from the bag and bracelets add a lot of glamour to this look and make it feel a little more luxe.  I am totally obsessed with these silk bracelets with gold chain details by Parpala Jewelry.  The movement the chain creates adds a lot of interest to any look.  It’s kind of like having a bit of fringe for the wrist!  Love that!
